On the 20th of June 2019, Nick Snowden is setting off on his bike with 5 friends from the west coast of England to cycle 170 miles across the country. Nick will be making the journey from Morecambe to Bridlington in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Sharing why our clinical case manager chose this charity, Nick said, “The idea is a result of spending too long in the pub one day and thinking it was a good idea. Amazingly, when we all came round we still thought it was a good idea and I decided to raise a few quid as I pedalled. I chose The Motor Neurone Disease Association as they helped my Mum throughout the course of her illness. It really is a cruel and despicable condition. My hope is that a few quid can help those who need it and to help fund research into better treatments and an eventual cure.”
