If you follow us on Facebook you’ll have seen we’ve set our sights high for our next challenge (2388.45 feet to be precise!)
The Yorkshire Three Peaks. ^^^ Arranged in a triangle, with the River Ribble and two minor B roads between them, the Three Peaks encompass a total walking distance of 39.2km (24.5 miles) and we’re expecting to take up to 12 hours to complete all three. We will be doing this with the aid of a guide from the local area. The response from people asking to join us has been phenomenal! We’re staying in a barn on Friday 16th May 2014, ready for the big walk the next day, with a stay overnight to rest the legs and work the arms (drinky time!!). The barn is going to be heaving but that won’t stop us enjoying ourselves. Let the training begin (sometime soon…!)
